screaming back pain

took the dog for our daily hobble around the neighborhood. the dog has a neurological condition that makes him have an awkward gait, and i have severe back problems that make me limp and drag my left foot a lot. now we are both hot, sweaty, tired and in pain but he drools a lot more than i do.

the docs say that the exercise is good for my back. i wish they would tell my back that. it screams at me every day when we go for our little limp-about.

If it's causing you that much pain then perhaps you should talk to a doctor or alter the walk somehow, make it shorter or something.

I'm so sorry that you're having back pain problems, I always have as well. One thing that helps is stretching a few times a day (or as many times as possible) and Yoga. Those have both really helped me. But I would talk to your doctor before doing either to make sure that it's ok.
