Doing Nothing.
Just wondered if anyone else has this problem.
For about the past 3-ish months, i basically have done nothing. I havent been to any lectures (and i have my exams next week which should be interesting considering I know nothing). Bar easter time, when i went back up north, ive only left my flat about once a week in the dark to get food.
I just sit here all day and night and day and night ... doing nothing. Not watching telly, not reading, not socialising. Sometimes I try to catch up on work ive missed but i see it pointless as literally within 10 minutes i will have no recollection of doing it.
I cant go to sleep cos people are in my room.
I sit in the same clothes for days. The only concept I have of time is night = people and animals and day = time to pretend to do some work.

I hope for nothing. I fear nothing. I am free.

I have this exact thing, my flatmates force me to go to class, I can never bring myself to revise, I usually just sit on my bed and do nothing. I can't bring myself to go socialise or do something constructive, I can't sleep or eat, it's really weird... Though I find SH makes me feel something and then I'm more likely to do something...
*hugs* It's really rather odd.

I do nothing too. I have support workers that come and force me out of the house occasionally, even if it is to go and buy food or something like that. Usually I sit at home on the computer, or lie down and stare at the ceiling. Sometimes I listen to my iPod. Otherwise, I do nothing.
I don't know why. Maybe it's because of depression.

I think the fact that you are asking this, means a part of you is aware that this is not a suitable situation.
My suggestion would be to contact a Dr or Psych to see what can be done to help you so that you feel you can be more active, and can remember actions beyond 10 mins.
I would also suggest contacting your course Tutor and letting them know what is going on, as at the moment you are likely to fail the upcoming exams. I think for you, taking a break from the course so that you can obtain help and build yourself back up to coping with the course may be the best action - then, if you can re-enter the course so that you can do the work you have currently missed and be back on track for the exams.
As you are in the UK, I am of course working on the assumption that you are at Uni. I know the above is possible at Uni as I have done something similar in the past. Yes, it will mean graduating later than you may have otherwise liked, but it enables you to take on board what is currently going on, act on it by getting help and then going back to the course when you are more capable of obtaining a grade you deserve.
*hugs*
