Sponsorship.... More help needed
Hi there,
I have activated my paypal account today after all the hooha with the stupid bank. But I only really set it up to sponser RYL and don't really know what I'm doing. I've checked in my paypal acount and it says two things:
Payment (some other stuff) and then it says uncleared
Subscription to (some other stuff) and then it says active
Is that normal and ok? not too sure you see. I haven't got a little sponser thing by my name yet.... does that take time to come through then? Have I even set up the sponsership right.
Sorry I'm hopeless at this sort of stuff. Any words of wisdom will be appreciated. Thanks.

This looks like PayPal has done what they call an Echeque, which takes about a week to clear - and as soon as it does it will show up on your account :)
I have shortcut the system for a few days and set you up to show as a sponsor now, before it clears.
But yeah, basically the money hasn't been transferred to RYL yet, so it won't be showing as completed. Paypal will automatically sort itself out in a few days and the RYL systems will update :)

Erm hi.... me again,
It's been a week now and well nothing has seemed to change here or on my paypal account. Have I not activated something or is this still normal? Am I being impatient sorry....? I'm a little clueless...

^^paypal is a safe thing to use. There is also postal orders. If you send something by post and are worried get it done recoered delivery meaning it wont get lost (well they can trace it)
and sophie, mines took about 2 weeks. wait til your bank statment/go get a mini-statment and it should come up with two small deposits being made, then you can activate the account.
