Emergency psychiatrist appointment. *hopefully no triggers*
Sorry if this is a pointless post or it doesnt belong here...
Okay. So i have been given this appointment for tomorrow and i'm **** scared that shes going to admit me there and then. It's been discussed a number of times and has come real close a few times but they seem reluctant (my EIP worker and the crisis team) but i'm worried that my psychiatrist is going to against what they've said(which shes done before).
I mean, do i lie to her? ...So she doesnt know how much i'm struggling?
I dont know what to do.

do you like my potato?

No, don't lie. You need to be honest, but I think you should plan what to say tonight incase she does suggest hospital. Put forward your case as to why you dont want to go.
What are your reasons for not wanting an admission?
Also think of alternatives to hospital such as perhaps seeing the crisis team more often, making a contract not to harm yourself and to take your meds things like that. If you show willingness to co-operate then your psychiatrist should listen.

Isn’t it funny how day by day nothing changes but when you look back, everything is different…

Thanks for replying.
I'm scared. I've had 2 admissions in the past but i was under 18 then so i was in an adolescent psychiatric unit. I'm now 18 and just really scared about going in. I have no idea of what to expect.
Are they really that scary? ...or am i just over-reacting?
I had a review meeting with my crisis team yesturday and we came to the conclusion that seeing different people/faces everyday wasn't helping me.

apparently they are trying to not admit people as much as possible...i've said for 3 weeks i've wanted to be admitted due to not feeling safe to lots of people and they keep saying no...and thats it's not a good idea for a 19 year old and it'd look bad later on in life...
so don't worry too much

How did it go?

See I cannot feel this, not matter how you try and in the real world, there's no goodbyes.

I'm concerned.

PM me if you want a PDF copy of the ICD-10 or the Mental Health Act 1983/2007. I ALSO HAVE THE DSM-V BOOK and am a pharmacology student.
I have a visual impairment / neurological problems so I need people to type in clear text and no funny fonts. Also excuse any typos, my vision blocks things out.
I have autism and have problems communicating, PMs included.
Just becasue I type well doesn't mean I speak well. I am only part time verbal.

Update.
Thanks for all the replies. Sorry i havent logged on and replied sooner. I just havent been in the right space. Things have really hit rock bottem.
Anyway, my app went ok-ish i guess. My psych told me she wasnt going to admit me unless something serious happened (which i was a tad surprised about because i've OD twice in this last week aswell as trying other methods). She did however prescribe me with a low dose of Olanzapine to use as a PRN medication and then just kept telling me how worried she was about me.
