and scars are the permanant mark left behind afterwards, though not always, and take years to fade, and are mostly white.
so if i've got a cut, and it heals, but its not a scar yet, what is it?
because RYL is all like, no pics of cuts, and tag *scars visible* if you post a pic where you can see a scar. far do's, and i have scars that are yeahs old from falling off a skateboard etc. im looking at my healed cuts, and i dont know if i can take a picture of my badly drawn butterfly for the butterfly project, to show how bad i draw with my left hand and that i managed to wait long enough to draw a butterfly, because they arent cuts anymore, but they definately arent scars yet. i dont think theyll scar. i hope not, lol.
so yeah. whats the word for the marks of a closed and healing cut, that isnt a scar, and can i take a picture of this butterfly because its HILARIOUS. no shouting at me, please. ive had enough of "these are the rules and you are bad" type stuff.

its up to you to decide if you think it is a triggering picture and if it is put a trigger warning on it...if the mods arent happy then they will remove it
I think it would probably still be classed as a fresh cut.
There are times to stay put, and what you want will come to you.
But there are times to go out into the world and find such a thing for yourself.
I aint no abacus but you can count on me.
I think perhaps it's still going to be quite triggering, therefore inappropriate, therefore removed. Perhaps you could draw your butterfly somewhere else where there isn't a scar and take a photo of it there?
The butterfly project said to draw it where you cut to discourage you.

theyre not really scars. i dont really scar visibly, im pretty pale. theyre kinda more like healed cuts.
but its not like i NEED to show people my bad drawing, it was just an amusing aside, and im not gonna do a million things to post one pic XD its a grey area, so ill just avoid it in case.

A cut which has totally healed over regardless of the colour is a scar. A cut that hasn't is either a fresh/ open/ healing cut (or wound) or a scab. Scars aren't necessarily white; many are pink or even red
by now the butterflies have faded away. 1 week free =]
