Work-safe version of RYL?

I was just wondering, would it be possible to have an option somewhere in the controls for a work-safe RYL? Something like a clicky link at the top would be perfect, that would then take you to a version of the forums where the 'RecoverYourLife.Com' logo, all avatars, and all signatures are hidden? I've been trying to look at the site whilst at work but it's a bit difficult when my back is to the walkway and a massive RYL logo keeps popping up, as I'm sure you can see!!

Any chance something like this might be feasible?

One way would be to go into your Internet Options, and then to the advanced tab, and switch off images. That will prevent all images, including any possibly dodgy images in posts not show - which would make RYL as work safe as I think it could be.

I did build a panic button into v3, which was a little button that floated on screen at all times, which when pressed took you to a site of your choice. However it was causing some pretty serious problems due to the files I was using to do it, which I didnt write.

Once all the other important stuff is out of the way I will be looking at getting that back in and working.

You can download panic button apps that will work on all sites by doing a google search too.

Uhh. If you're that worried, just stay off RYL at school or be careful enough not to get caught. Whining at Harley about it probably won't make him go any faster.

What about just opening a second window with a different page that you can put over the RYL window as needed? When I'm someplace semi-public, I make another window a little bigger behind the RYL one so it'll completely cover the other window if I click on it... I think in Windows that would work by hiding it and clicking the tab if needed. Or you can always just close the window or click the home button if needed.

But I also think that a discreet, image-free version would be nice. Kinda like those editions of Harry Potter with discreet covers for adults who don't want to be seen reading a kids book :-P

It's not so much hiding it if someone comes up as it's usually during lunch so I can bring up a spreadsheet or document to cover it so people didn't read. It's more so that if someone glanced over or whatever, they wouldn't see "RecoverYourLife.Com" in massive lettering, or dancing avatars that might give away that I'm not reading BBC News like everyone else during lunchtime!! But I'll try Harley's idea when I get back - Harley, is there any way to apply that to one website only?
