i dont get it my mom has now i self harm and i am trying to stop y does she want me to cover up my scars everytime i walk out of the house so ppl wont see them .i dont feel like coverinng them when i go out sometime and it 75 out it to hot with the sun to cover up i dont get why she wont let me wear wat i want it me not her

I understand why you don't want to cover up your scars..Maybe you should sit down with your Mom and talk to her about it? Just ask why she doesn't want you to show them then tell her why you don't want to cover them..If you have any more questions you can PM me anytime. :)

I know how you feel. My mum's the same. She tells me that they embarass her and that I should be ashamed of them. But we've done nothing wrong. You shouldn't have to cover them up if you don't want to, and she shouldn't force you to.
