Hey.
I'm new to this RYL thing. My coach for Forensics gave me homework to find an online support group for self-injury and to find some hotlines to call if I need to. I just wanted to sign up and introduce myself so I can tell her I did...
A little bit of explanation about myself and my story:
When I was three I was sexually abused by my cousins who are four and six years older than me. When I was 12, my best friend died of lung cancer. At 13 my boyfriend was murdered by his father. At 13 I started cutting. At 15 my parents divorced. At 17 I was raped and became pregnant. I miscarried four months later. When I was 20 I was raped again......and here we are, almost a year later. I've been cutting on and off throughout the years, but this month or so is always the worst for me. March 23 was my due date, so it's always the hardest time of year. Hence the reason my coach asked me to find a support group.

Welcome to RYL, as well as ticking things off for your coach, I hope you find the site useful for yourself. You've had a lot to deal with. Browse around and see how it goes - there's various specialist forums for spcific issues, and they usually have some information links in one of the first few threads (they stay at the top).
