You’re standing there in the mirror
Hating what you see
Tears filling up your eyes.
You think you’re overweight
And your hair isn’t straight
And think that you can’t look that way…
You run your hands down your body
Cursing all your curves and your insecurities
Missing all the good things that make you the way you are.
Your beautiful little girl
Keep your head up high
And smile at the sky.
Just realise beauty is within your heart.
So dry your eyes little girl…
You’re beautiful just the way you are.
Foundation, mascara and straightening tongs
You think they're all you need
You’ve seen all your friends and the celebs in the magazines.
What’s the reason to look that way and follow all your friends?
Just be yourself because

It's they're not there as in 'they are' all you need. The apostrophe takes place of an A.
Nicely done though, it's sad but is easy to relate to.
