Triggering (SI) - New Year's Resolution, anyone wanna join me?

So after the success of the Christmas Pact and now that I've been free for 29 days I thought I'd make it to New Year's and make it my New year's resolution,
anyone want to join with me??
I find it so much easier with more support from other's, I've got this amazing dress I'm wearing to a new years party which has half sleeves which is motivating me not to SI
Then I've got a sleeveless dress to wear next year which would be my reward

That's a good idea.
My new years resolution is to self harm less than 7 times this year, as during 2009 I managed to lessen how many times I did it compared to 2008, so this year my aim is do it even less :) I was going to make a resolution to quit self harming altogether but I think that will stress me out and perhaps make me think about it too much.

Well primarily it's to get to new years without giving into si..then i want to set it as my new years resolution which i suppose for me will be as long as possible.However, you may want to alter the resolution a bit? the thread is mainly for support

I think I will make it to the new year. 103 days today.

Good luck everyone. It doesn't matter if you slip up. You don't fail. The fact that you have gone without Self Injury for a period of time, and then it doesn't matter how long that period of time was, is a great thing on itself already. 100 days, 10 days, 1 day or one hour, everything is good. If you manage to say "okay, I won't harm myself for one hour starting now" and you succeed, it's just as much as a success as when you set your goal on 100 days.
Don't forget to have hope. Hope for a better life, for a better world, for a better anything. Wish upon a star. Who knows, it could come true. But you have to try to make your wish come true. Never give up.

I don't think it's possible to "fail".

By the time you decided to start, you've already kinda succeeded. It's the trying to stop that is important, that's how you'll get places.

it is going to very hard.. i am kinda looking forward to it despite it scaring the hell out of me.
