Sometimes that happens, it doesnt mean there is anything wrong with the drug, just that they have it in a different packaging. Ive had that loads of times.
And as said if it where xr it would have it written on it.

this happened to me...my psych changed it to the seroquel XL which is the modified verson..the slow release...i've been having to take it at 6:30pm to be able to wake up the next mornign at a normal time...i got given the xl about 2 weeks ago..i started off taking them when i go to bed (which is what i did with the normal version) and i didnt wake up till gone 1pm the following day. i don't like this slow release version tbh..
seroquel...wit hthe purple packaging is the normal version and the one with the shiney pink packaging is the slow release version...i suggest you take it quite early..
