and i hate myself for it.
it wasnt necessary...but i did it.
i havent even been craving it.
thats when i have to be careful.....when im OFF guard.
thats when it slips up on me. ****.

just another sobriety date that i have to change.....
pointless.
i want to scream.

I know how you feel.

The night before last, I relapsed after having six months of sobriety. It's been really tough for me. Thankfully, I have a lot of people around me that support me. The next morning, hangover and all, I walked into an AA meeting, announced I had relapsed...I never felt so much love in one room.
Just reach out to people who support your sobriety. Don't give up hope.

it does not matter if you drank yesterday or the day before that or even if you were sober. what matters is if you are sober today. relapses happen. and so long as you are able to get sober again that is all that matters. no will judge you for it. (at least no one whose opinion should matter.) today is a new day.
