good and bad, good because there is so much to the deathly hallows and they would have to cut and skip loads to make the movies a reasonabel running time really.
but bad because well 8 whole months!!! no one can wait 8 whole months!

I know... thats what I thought... maybe they could show part 1 and then a week later or that show part 2....

but I guess 8 months is a lot better than waiting 1 or 2 yrs for the next one to come out!

2 films = more money for them & the production company.
I doubt it has anything to do with the book as it is not the longest Harry Potter book.

And you say I only hear what I want to.

The details are more important in this one though! So yeah, I think that's why... not that i'm complaining! Only about the fact I have to wait even more time now >.<

Aslong as it's better than the HBP then it's a good thing.
I just finished watching the HBP and I thought it was awful. I'm usually a fan of HP and I do love that book but yes, I just felt the film wasn't that good.

yeah, prisoner of azkaban is my fave book too. and in the movies i felt like there was such a huge growing up period inbetween chamber of secrets and poa.
i read hbp earlier this year when the movie came out and i remember liking it. i'm not fond of chamber of secrets, book or movie.
kindof related but at my work we got hbp in on dvd and on the first day we sold 141 copies, which is the amount we ordered to last us the week.

i love the anticipation of seeing how the movies are made, with all the special effects/cgi etc.
i thought the weasleys wizard wheezes was pretty cool in the latest film.

me too. i think in general it's quite nice to be a follower of a series because the anticipation is fun. when i saw the trailer for deathly hallows the other night it made my night. sometimes the waiting and discussing and fangirling can be more exciting than actually watching the movie. (although i'm sure that'll be cool too).

I trecked all the way to the other side of town because tesco's website said it was on sale for £8. It turned out it was £8 if you bought £30 of shopping so we ended up getting it at £12 something- Asda was charging £14..but if sainsburies is doing it for £7 with no add on's I'm going to be annoyed lol.
I never did think to check how much sainsburies were selling it for!

I think my favourite film is the order of the phoenix.
My favourite book is the Deathly hallows.

I really need to re-read the series though cause I don't really remember much of it!

sainsburys is definitely £7 without any catches.
i don't remember order of the phoenix that well but actually the ending is pretty good to that one, right. i just hate the fact that sirius dies.

Chamber of Secrets was probably my least favourite, followed by Order of the Phoenix. Harry is such a whiney devil in the 5th one. Ergh, he just annoyed me so much.

I really disliked the third film, and I was so disappointed because it's my favourite book =[
