There are any number of possible reasons I'm afraid. The chat software seems particularly sensitive to internet conditions and there is an awful lot of internet between RYL and Oz :)
Also, as you have probably seen having searched this forum, the chat software can also be effected by the brand of antivirus software you run on your PC.
A few random disconnects probably can't be improved. Consistent issues may point to a configuration problem at your end which may or may not be resolvable.
