Just wondering, is 'text speak' allowed on the forums?

People are rarely actually lolling when they say lol. Lol is an overused abbreviation like love is an overused word. There's far too much lol on the web, it's lost it's meaning.

^ exactly. Thats why I hate it. Its just an "I feel the need to pointlessly pad out this sentance because I have nothing better to say" thing, at least in my opinion. Whats sadder is when people actually say "lol" in real life. Pfft.
