Triggering (Suicide) - I think I'm losing it...
I honestly think I'm going crazy...all I ever seem to think about is suicide...not so much how I would do it, but if I could actually kill myself...I've only just began to notice how much I think about it and I must spend half the day with thoughts of suicide going around my head. I can't help thinking about it and it's really beginning to scare me...

thinking of suicide is a sign that you are sufferin from a very low mood - you need to try and think of what is causing you to feel low and have these thoughts and tackle whatever the issue is!
have you spoken to anyone about these thoughts? its always good to talk to someone you cantrust about these feelings so that you have someone to turn to when you need some help and support.
another good thing to do would be to inform you docotor. CBT or medication may be able to be offered to you to get you through this hard time
do you think that you will act on these thoughts?
its important that you stay in control on these thoughts and seek help from crisis intervention, doctor, A&E, family,friends etc if you feel that you may attempt to follow through what you are thinking.

Is there anything in your life that you're trying to escape from, or feel overwhelmed by? Sometimes that can cause the despair and hopelessness when only suicide feels an escape.
Life however can be worked with, and you can get support to help you through this.
I would encourage you to reach out for support from your GP or a counsellor, or maybe use a crisis helpline, in addition to posting here for support.

Can you remember a time when you didn't have these thoughts? What was different?

I put it down on paper and then the ghost does not ache so much.
Don't try to calm the storm, calm yourself, the storm will pass.
You didn't come this far just to come this far.
