Adult - Can't move forward.

Am new to this site so hope i'm doing this in the right place?
Cutting a long story short, well broken heart is the best 2 words to discribe it!
Met an amazing guy (i have had relationships befor but this felt different) spent most of my time him, with his 2 beautiful children (when we had them), and his family. He preposed to me in May on my birthday and i was stupidly happy and we got with planning our day.
I went to work for a long shift about 6 weeks ago come home and he had gutted all his stuff out of our flat and moved back to his parents.
When i asked what happened and/or what i'd done he says he doesn't know that i'm amazing but doesn't know.
I'm so gutted and confused, we we're in touch but it got stupid n now it's all over, he seems to be overly making a point of how great his life now is but swears there is no one else.
I just cant move on from it unfortunately i had been taking a acne drug that can cause depression anyway so im going round in circles.

unfortunatly the only person that can put your mind at ease is him... only he knows the reason he packed up and left.

its clear that you felt things were going well and both were happy - perhaps your partner got scared of the commitment?
it sounds like you have done absolutly nothing wrong and the problem lies with him. dont push him but let him know that you do need an explanation.

Your right, but unfortunately an answer out of him is like getting blood out of a stone!
Just trying to forget him now i'm still just very bitter that he has done this to me.

there might have been someone else. unfortunately you may never know. I'm sorry this happened to you. That's horrible. Be gentle with yourself. This will be hard for a long time, unfortunately. But you will get through it. Do you think you would benefit from something like counseling to help you get through it? *HUGS* Feel free to pm me if you ever need to talk. But you WILL make it through this. It's just going to take time.

I'm so sorry you're going through this.
Perhaps, although very hard to see right now, this is the lesser of two evils. You know now that he may not have been that one person for you. He has showed you what he is capable of before you committed your life to him.

I know how hard it is and how awful you must feel, but this too shall pass.

Thanks for the support, i've been through break ups before and even been in longer relationships but just shows how different people can affect you, maybe because he treated me so well when it was good.. more like missing who i thought he was not wanting what he is? if that makes sense?
