SAW VI

I did start a SAW thread quite a while back now, but i don't know where it has gone.

Who else is excited about SAW 6, released on 23rd October. 4 days to go now!

I'm convinced that Dr. Gordon has to be alive in this one. Plus i'm really looking forward to finding out what was in the box given to John's wife. I have seen a few pictures of her speaking to Hoffman, so there's an obvious story line.

Is anybody kind of annoyed by Amanda still being in the films though? It's like come on, die already!

It wouldn't surprise me if Dr Gordon is still alive, it would have taken a lot to make him better though considering he was bleeding out at the time.

I quite like the Saw films, but I don't think too much in to them. I like them for what they are, a bit of blood and gore.

I like them because they are intelligently thought out. The storyline are awesome, and really need a lot of work to maintain the right people in the right places at the right times.

We were re watching th first two Saw movies the other day and found quite a few instances of people in hoods that we just assume is Jigsaw, but don't know if it actually is or not. I wouldn't be suprised if going back to some of them turns out to be Dr Gordon. Especiall the one in Saw 2 whith the first trap where the key was put behind his eye. Dr Gordon was a surgeon after all!

Saw was on last night and Saw II is on later tonight with Saw III being shown later this week, all on Channel 4.

I agree that they are quite well done, well-linked back and stuff. I just don't really think too much into the story or that though.

The Saw's being shown on Telly are just pointless. They edit so much out its hardly worth showing them.

I can't say I've ever really noticed! What do they cut out? I have the DVDs, but don't watch them very often.

I hate when they bleep out naughty words. In the first saw when I watched it on Syfy yesterday in the final 20 minutes they bleeped out like every other word.

I saw the first half an hour or so last night (it was on about half eleven) and there was no censoring.

Yeah C4 won't censor the language (which is why it's on so late) I'm not really into watching films on TV though due to adverts. I wouldn't imagine much to be cut out though?

I will be off down cinema to watch SAW VI although I hope it will be the last SAW to be made (although I'm aware it probably won't be concluding to IMDB SAW VII is in pre production)

I'm excited to see it, though I feel like I need to have a Saw marathon beforehand so I can remember what happened in the other five.

magic tears: i actually heard a long time ago that the actor that plays jigsaw signed a contract for 10 movies... so... they may be 10 or more! (I hope that they don't go on that long though, they will probably wind up sucking...which will be a disappointment.)

The story in SAW is no longer relevant. You had the first trilogy and now SAW 6 ends the second trilogy and they are atleast going up to 9 to make a third trilogy of movies. The only plotpoints you need to remember is who was being trained by so and so to carry on the games. That is all that links them now as this series should have ended after the 3rd.

By the way this series will not stop. It has been made for continuation in mind, if they haven't stopped with Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elm Street then SAW won't stop either. They will just keep playing the same storyline over and over... We'll be 50 years old and our grand children will be excited about SAW 38.

The story is over. It died with Jigsaw and Amanda. [Who I am extremely glad is still there, by the way. Shawnee Smith is amazingly good looking.] In a series so focused on aesthetics, it never mattered anyway. Just sit back and enjoy the mindless violence.
