I am currently:
Mental Health and the Health Care Debate?

What is exactly the deal with mental health issues and coverage in relation to the healthcare debate in the US? All I hear about in the media is medical coverage which I am assuming means "typical" healthcare like hospital visits for injuries, diseases, surgeries, etc.

I'm curious because my current health insurance doesn't cover mental health at all due to a prexisting condition (BS), and that really frustrates me. Basically, I want to know if there'd be a possiblity I could get coverage if the new bill passes, or if it will at least make it easier for me to get coverage...

Thoughts? Sorry, I am kind of confused about this...
