A Friend?

why do you care about me?
why should you care?
what do you want from me?
good grades?
pretty unhurt arms?
a smile?
well what if I said I could not do that?
what if I failed my school because my mind is in pain
or my arms bleeding all over the sink expressing my torment within?
but no I fail my grades to waste time at-least that’s what you think
and I write my name in blood on my wrists for fun?
and i get joy from thinking about murdering people all around me?
if that’s you thinking that way about me
then you don't know what pain really is
and you don't give a dame about anyone else
and you refuse to be open to something you don't know
and you cant be my friend
to be a true friend
you must love me
and I must love you
you must be able to forgive me for my wrong doings
and I the same to you
I must fall apart and you be there to guide me to the end
and I guide you through your trials as you would for me
you must open your mind
and I will open mine
you must hold no transgressions nor lies
and I will hold none to you
and if you welcome me into your house
your welcome in mine
and if you would die for me
I would die for you
if you want to
care about somebody
heal somebody
teach somebody
learn from somebody
work with somebody
then make me that somebody
and you will have no greater friend in this lifetime
