Hunt for a new hobby (suggestions appreciated)

I need a new hobby. Something to make my life a bit more entertaining/rewarding. Unfortunately i'm drawing a bit of a blank and cant think of anything.
The only hobby i've managed to stick with through the whole of my life is reading. All the rest (ballet, skiing, knitting, origami) have fallen by the wayside.

So, since i was suffering from a complete lack of imagination, i thought id ask all you wonderful people for help.

My requirements are:
Indoors - I dont want to be getting cold
Not necessary to have previous skill - I have no skills
Preferably have something to show for my effort at the end

I think that's all, if you have any suggestions i'd really like to hear them.

Ta muchly,
Rosie

Thanks for the input :)

I'm not really very artistic and learning to play an instrument has proved pretty much impossible in the past. I sort of want something that you dont have to really think for but keeps your hands busy.

I'd go with this! Knitting especially. It doesn't require a lot of brain power, but it keeps your hands moving :)

Tapestry? Less complex than knitting or embroidery, it's like sewing colour by numbers - the same stitch throughout.

No, no you are not, and because I'm even more special, every time I've seen it I've read it that way. Even though, it clearly says "hunt for a new hobby" (I also almost just misspelled that and put "hung for a new hobby")

Anyway, getting back on track, try baking? I bake a lot, and it turns out to be fun, you can start off very simply, and then start doing harder stuff progressively. You have something to show for it as well at the end, something edible!

Bit costly but you'll have something to show towards the end.

Computers.
Learn digital photography, photoshop, Paint.Net. Dreameaver, Linux, C++, Flash animation and on and on. Software is easy to get if you know where to look (whistles). YouTube is full of tutorials on anything and everything. Just last week I watched a lecture on Pontormo (painter) and trigonometry (not to mention a walkthrough on Half Life Episode 2 and Oblivion). Get some parts and build a computer. I don't know how anyone can be bored if they have a computer.

Pick an author you like and become a collector of their works. Once you have them all, start over with a new author.

I know my suggestions haven't been thrill-city, but why would anyone take trig as a hobby? a hobby is supposed to be interesting.

I know it's not really a specific hobby, but I can spend hours and hours on Instructables.com.
It's a great site for DIY projects, crafts, etc.
It might even introduce you to a hobby you'd like to take up.
