Safe - shooting pains

i have been in work today and i haven't done anything strenous or not what i uaslly do,
i now have shooting pains in my right arm and it is really bugging me as i am in work again tomorrow, and it is really painful.

can anybody give me any clues to what it may be

How do you mean shooting pains?
Is it only whe you move or all the time
how serve is it
how long has it lasted

it aint too bad it is like a ache sometimes and then other times it is a sharp pain that travels down my arm.
it comes and goes and there isn't really a percifict time when it is there
it lasts anything from only a minute to about 10 mins
