I did an 'introduction to counselling course' through the home learning college. It was Ok. Although I didn't get much out of said course. I'd like to do my alevels through home learning but, it's just to damn expensive.

I did a psychology course with the OU after I dropped out of college because of my anxiety. It was hard, home learning is nothing like being in college. You dont get the same input from other students or the tutor. It's mainly self learning and you speak to the tutor if you need to. I couldnt get on with it, it wasnt for me.
