Haha I'm meeting my boyfriend's parents for the first time next week and I'm well scared haha
I've spoken to his mum loads on Facebook and I'm fine but as soon as he gets me on the phone to her, I get well shy lol and I know I will when I go and meet them

Anyone else ever get scared about meeting the other half's parents?
Or even family?

I was nervous when I first met my boyfriend's family but only because I had only been with him a few weeks. Two years later and I get on really well with them.

I think to start with it's scary but it's not so bad after a bit.

I think I find it easier when it's an other halves family / parents tbh.

the first time i met the boys mother she looked at me like i was a whore.
& i felt like a right harlot.
& refused to speak to boy for a week after.
it was all his fault i got looked at like a whore, i mean he did sneak me into his parents house one night when i went to oxford & i saw his mum the next morning as i left.

&since then, i can't speak to her, apart from the time she took me & boy out to dinner & i managed to bring up how he could donate his sperm for money.
