I've only ever had the crunchy small snack ones, like them.
Oh, and the chocolate covered ones :) they were special.
Why don't you trust the internet, if you go onto BBC food or a reputable chef website its little different to using a recipe book.

I'm intrigued to try one now but the wheat free version is probably crud.

No dear, not literally.

*shakes fist*
I need to triple check my posts really, once for spelling and grammar, twice for abiding to rules and thrice to see if you could possibly take the piss out of it

*giggles* I don't stalk you. I just like the same threads that you like. Or something.

Spelling and grammar... meh. They're overrated.
Yes, I check mine too.

Rules?
If I commented, I'd be told off.

Me taking the piss?
I can take the piss out of most things tbh.

Which flour do you use for your bread? I find that gluten free stuff comes out really well home made, though a little crumblier than the normal stuff. You should try making them, bet they'd be good. =]

Oh, and to the OP, this site seems quite good/valid. With pictures and everything.

I can't remember the brand of it but it's wheat free specifically and I definitely agree about things coming out more crumbly. We tried making bread with it a few times and it was a completely different consistency, and quite dry. Cakes seem to come out well though.
Maybe I should give it a try :)

Do you get it on prescription? I find flour from the Drs is better from shop bought flour - my mum makes really nice bread that's not dry at all, just crumbly. And yeah, you won't know until you try.

EDIT: The flour my mum has is Juvela, if that helps any.

No, I don't get it on prescription, we buy it from Tescos. I don't know if I have been officially diagnosed (if that's even possible) with a wheat intolerance. My GP just told me to cut it out for two weeks to see if I felt better and I did so I carried on avoiding it.
Thanks for the tip, I'll keep an eye out for it.
