Anyone else having problems with Orange?

I've been having problems with them for the past 3 weeks since I got my sim card
I was sposed to get £10 credit for transferring my number and ended up waiting a couple weeks to get it rather than 7 days, despite ringing up every day trying to see why I hadn't got it and being told to wait 24 hours for it every time
I was also supposed to get £5 just for sending off for the sim card or something and got that 3 weeks later even though I'd rang up every day and again, got told every time to wait 24 hours
Then I rang my boyfriend who's on my magic numbers and got charged £3.75 for it even though it was supposed to cost me 20p
This was on Thursday and I rang up on Thursday and said to them about it and got told I'd rang him while I was in my reserve tank
I pointed out to them that I wasn't in my reserve tank and they'd just gone and put it on and then got told I'd get the credit back in 24 hours
Well it's now Monday, and guess what, I still don't have my credit back
I rang up today and told them and guess how long I have to wait?
24 hours
I told them that I'd been told that since Thursday and ended up seriously getting stupidly annoyed with them

So I was wondering if anyone else has had problems or is it just me?

Sorry for the long post, if you manage to read it all, thank you
:)

So it's not just me then
I asked to speak to a manager and I don't think the person I spoke to was a manager to be quite honest
The only reason I'm staying on Orange is cos my boyfriend's on it so I put him on my magic numbers cos I can spend all day on the phone with him sometimes lol
I'm gonna ring up tomorrow and try and sort it, I'm not giving up on it, it'd be fine if it was like 10p but it's nearly £4!!
Haha they're always having issues, been with them a few times before and always had problems with them, grr
They'd better give me my texts and internet next month!!

I am with orange as well and I have only
had one problem and it was not that big,
but yeah when I phoned they said 24 hours.

I personally think they say it just to shut people up and get them off the phone
If that's the case then it's not working with me because I'll just keep ringing and ringing til I get what I want haha

Orange and 3 are both ridiculous. The trick to it is just keep on the phone bugging them if they say wait 24 hours just say No. ive been told this multiple times before can you just check the system now and do something about it whilst im on the phone. N if they say no then ask for someone who can fix it whilst on the phone. N always ask for money back on the calls if they keep you on hold.
Cool that they reimbursed you n gave you bonuses tho! Just hope theres no catches :p

Ugh they're doing my head in yet again!
They charged me again for my magic numbers and I'd also bought 100 minutes for a tenner so that I could ring my boyfriend cos it was charging me full price
I've got my boyfriend on my magic numbers cos I sometimes spend literally all day on the phone to him so it'd work out cheaper, I rang him and it took all my credit yet again and then wouldn't let me use the minutes I'd bought
I rang them up and complained about it and they told me I had to put credit on to use my minutes and then got told that I couldn't use them on my magic numbers which wasn't made clear when I bought the minutes, I pointed this out to them
I got told again that I'd get the credit back but this time in 48 hours, this was on the second phone call cos I'd been hung up on the first time
This is seriously annoying me now
Does anyone know any other decent networks that me and my boyfriend could go on?

Jeeze that sucks =z most networks do a magic numbers type of thing. I've been through a few networks and always gone back to O2. They're not brilliant on the phone side of things, but they will listen to you and if you ask them to sort it right away they will. They will also update your credit whilst your on the phone to them too. All networks have faults with the 'help'lines though, unfortunatly :(

Hmm I know what you mean with the magic numbers
I put my bf on as mine for 20p a minute
Turns out it takes a couple of weeks to activate

But no, I find orange amazing if I'm honest, best network I've been on and I've been on pretty much all of them

I got a text saying 24 hours and it worked straight away, it's only been in the last few days that it hasn't been working
Orange are alright with their deals, I'm on unlimited texts and internet at the moment and magic numbers which is good, haven't had anything half as decent on the other networks

my housemate is having problems with orange.

i'm with o2 and i have had no problems with them at all. i think o2 do like favourite numbers which is similar to the magic numbers - maybe have a look at o2?

And you say I only hear what I want to.

Yeah me and my boyfriend were discussing it today, problem is, his phone's locked to Orange so he'll either have to get it unlocked or get a new phone
I've got an O2 sim card so I'm sorted lol

I'm on Vodafone. I rarely use it, so it's all cool with me.
I don't have a problem with them or Orange. My flatmate's on Orange and she seems ok with it.
I do have a problem with the [lack of] postal service.
But that's a whole other story!
