Eww
Eww, just tried eating a spoonful of white sugar. It was a very big let down.
Am I the only sick person who has decided it would be good to load up on refined **** to ward off a hangover?

That is pretty weird. I would feel gross if I did that.
Too much sugar or sugar-y things makes me feel so sick.
When my brother was little, he used to put strawberries in water and then put them in the sugar dish over night so they were sugar-coated when he woke up.
Lmfao he had such a sweet tooth.

The teeth thing is minging. I'm just going to have to keep up stealing my housemate's salad cream for salad cream sandwiches instead - far nicer :)

Ha ha, that was a bit desperate.
I used to eat sugar on toast. Not for hangovers - just because I liked it and was told it's better for you than jam.

Too much sugar. Poor teethies.
Orange squash and a good fry up = perfect hangover cure.

I remember being on a school trip to france when I was younger (<11) and we had no money for food so we ate sugar... Well to be exact I had about one packet then realised it was pointless while my friends had about 20 thinking that it would get them high/hyper.... it just made them feel a bit sick and very stupid =p

I eat sugar cubes sometimes. Far nicer than actual sugar. Don't ask why, they just are.
On a school band tour when I was in year 8, my friend Beth decided to put sugar in her milk to see what it tasted like. She was in year 6 at the time. She's now year 10 and I haven't let her forget it. Needless to say she's never done it again.
It was the same tour that we nicked hard boiled eggs from breakfast, intending to keep them for lunch. We forgot about them and had them for a midnight snack instead.

I agree and it feels more daring / satisfying stealing them out those tiny bowls in cafes etc? Probably just me

^ yes. It's not just you. It's great when you can steal them out of cafes and restaurants. In Belgium they put two into a packet.
She didn't like it very much. I'm sure you could try it if you wanted to

Oh that's convenient, two in a packet
Yeah I'm sure I could try it but I don't tend to eat sugar anymore. I have canderel with my porridge if that counts.

You are my new best friend. My housemates think I am insane for eating salad cream sandwiches! It is officially my most favourite snack in the world!
