Weird breathing thing?!
Hi guys. Recently I've been feeling a bit odd in that I sometimes feel as though I can't get enough air in! If I'm occupied by something I don't even notice it, but when I'm just sat pondering I tend to notice it more, my throat feels a bit tight and I get that funny feeling you get in your stomach when you're a bit nervous - but I'm not feeling nervous, I'm just sat on my arse doing nothing! Just feels a bit odd! Idk, probably just me being weird! Starting to get on my nerves a bit thats all.

Well, it sounds to me like an anxiety attack. When you're sat doing nothing are you thinking about anything?
I have the same sort of thing sometimes too. Sometimes there are things i don't even realize i'm that worried about until i 'feel' it, in my stomach or my breathing feels funny.
If you're worried about it it's always best to see a doctor and explain the problem. They might be able to tell you what's wrong or put your mind to rest.

It does sound anxiety related.
Next time i happens try to remember what you where thinking about.
Also, it might be worth trying some grounding techniques. Whilst staying calm try to focus on something. Look at it in as much detail as possible.
It is defineatly worth speaking to your doctor about this. They may be able to offer you some form of therpay to help you deal with these feelings.
Take care

I thought that it might be that but kinda dissmissed the idea because I'm not generally a person who gets into that much of a panic about stuff! Plus it's something that's just randomly come about, it's not like anything major has triggered it, and I'm not particularaly worried about anything except for trivial day to day worries. Idk, think I'm just a mutant!
Thanks guys, Cx

No worry is trivial.
Sometimes physical anxiety symptoms come on even when you aren't aware that you are emotionally anxious. That's happened to me many times. Now, of course, I am able to be more tuned in to the whole process. Keeping a journal might help some.
