cat missing

My dad just called to tell me that my cat has been missing since Sunday... I know it's not long but he's not an out door cat. He has been out before but never this long. I am away ay college so can't look for him myself and we have wild animals around like Lynxs, lion mountains, bears, foxes .... I've been stressed out so things have been going down hill. I've messed up. I'm really worried about my cat because I love him ALOT. Neither of my grandparents are doing well and with classes starting my anxiety is through the roof. This is the beginning of the school year so I can't help but think maybe this is an omen for the rest of the year

hey.
hope your cat turns up soon! he might have got stuck in a neighbours shed or garage or something in which case i'm sure he will be a bit hungry when he gets home but otherwise fine.
i'm sure it's not an omen! maybe it's just a challenge to make you stronger.
are your grandparents ill? is there something you can send them that would cheer them up? like making a card? grandparents always like home made things, and making it could be a good distraction for you.
can you find someone like a college counsellor who you could go and talk to about your anxiety?
i hope you feel better soon and that your cat turns up! i'm sure he will come home soon xx

Still no sign of him :(. One grandfather has cancer, my grandmother has diabetes but doesn't take care of herself. The other grandparents both have a form of dementia and don't remember my name. I see the school counselor but idk. I keep praying that my cat will show up. Unfortunately several cats have gone missing so we are wondering if someone is taking them in.

we just found out that my cat is the 6th out of 7 cats missing so far. None of them have turned up... I am a mess but can't seem to cry.

oh, that's awful. i hope you can find out what's been going on. keep hoping that he turns up! you never know.
crying helps if you can do it. it gives you a headache but it makes you feel better afterwards.
*hugs*

I'm sorry about your cat *Hugs* I know what your going through, my 2 cats went missing, one in April last year, the other in January this year. So I know how you are feeling.

Unfortunately ours didn't come back, but I really hope yours does! It's always hard when a pet goes missing, even more so when your away from home and can't be there to look for him.

Thank you...... I am home for the weekend... My mom read an article in the paper saying that there are 12 cat's missing from my area... I live in a VERY small area. The article said that the DEC released some sort of vicious weasel type animal that lives in trees. So it's not really looking good. It is hard being home and not having him be all over me. My mom has already told me that if it comes to it, she will get me a cat for Christmas. I looked it up online and getting a kitten ( i would want a kitten) from the spca is $125 but she said she doesn't care...... I am still quite upset. I get a sense from my other cat that she is missing him.

Sadly he is still missing and its been close to a month now. I still want to keep hope. There are times when I want to cry but don't anymore. Then there are times where I forget he is missing. My brother told me that knowing him he is off in a bear den sleeping in odd positions. I just try to think that. There are now a total of at least 13 cats missing just in my area which is very small. I ordered pictures of him online and got them today.... I am planning on getting him Tattooed on my ankle once i get money. I've heard stories were the cat will go missing for months so i am not giving up hope but I'm afraid if I keep too much home that I'll be even more crushed when he doesn't come home. I was telling a friend about it and she told me there was nothing I could do about it and it made me feel stupid for being upset.I have a few friends here who understand why I'm so upset. I haven't cried in a little while but it still hurts.....I think being at college away from home is mostly why I sometimes forget he isn't there.
