How do I find windows defender?
I need to get rid of it because I keep getting an error message everytime I boot up or click on it anywhere else so that I can then download it again because it won't let me while it's already on my PC (obviously) Keeps saying vista is already installed with WD etc etc
I can't find it in add / remove programmes at all.

Is the error message I keep getting after hundreds of PC restarts without fail. I've looked online for methods of sorting the error out but they haven't worked or are just so so complicated and long winded I can't face them. It's really bugging me because everything else on my laptop is working perfectly.
I'd be extremely grateful if anyone has any advice on what I can do.
