I think there's a couple of myths in there. Just a hunch.

One thing: Bubbles pop from heat and dryness, not pressure or sharpness, so why would bending or pulling your fingers cause knuckles to crack? I thought it was sinovial fluid moving about.

And he brought me into a vast farmlands of our own midwest. And as we descended, cries of impending doom rose from the soil. One thousand, nay a million voices full of fear. And terror possesed me then. And I begged, "Angel of the Lord, what are these tortured screams?" And the angel said unto me, "These are the cries of the carrots, the cries of the carrots! -- Not a vegetarian

My nose is shorter. I'm cool enough to have just checked.
And:
"The width of your arm span stretched out is the length of your whole body."
This phrase confuses me probably a lot more than it should.

But, interesting list :)

don't like the one about lefties living for less time than right handed people - it's not fair! we're obviously the best so why do we have to die first?! :P

Often easier to hypnotize too. Not so much because they have a high IQ but they have usually studied a lot and concentration can be a function of hypnosis - a road to a number of hypnotic states. Focusing very tightly on something while excluding other things is conducive to trance states. You never want to "analyse" problems too much or you'll usually go for the wrong answer.
