personally i don't and in texts or message boards i actually just type what i want without thinking about it which personally is how its meant to be...
BUT in essays and stuff like that I actually use it even though were not marked on it which me and class love :)
Yes.
I am, majorly.
Enough to say that the title of this thread should really read as a question, and should start with a capital letter.
But that's just me being anal.
It's probably because I'm a huge fan of the English language, and think it should always be used properly and with the correct grammar. I blame my (rather wonderful) GCSE English teacher.
EDIT: But yeah, if it's something that you can't help through dyslexia or anything like that, then fair enough.
I don't ever take the mick, or tell people (I only used the one above as an example of how I think) that their grammar is pants, because I can't ever be sure of the situation.
I can handle bad grammar and the such, but most of the time, I barely read posts or emails or anything like that if it's in 'chat speak'.
Now I'll play your ghost as my ace, whenever I'm led astray.
But I am actually good, can't help it if we're tilted.
I'm in my right place, don't be a downer.
i dont because not everyone can help bad grammar. i have seen people take the mick out of folk for not being able to spell and i think its low because if they have dyslexia it isnt something they can help.

I Have Never Understood This Style of Typing/Writing Though. Does Anyone Know The Point In It?
I know so many people who type like that, and I just don't understand why.

Yeah, I always thought you were meant to be marked on spelling and grammar in any essay, no matter what the subject? I'm not sure though, but I always was at school.

I am a bit of a grammar nazi, despite being dyslexic :P I absolutely cannot handle text speak, it drives me nuts! And then I just have silly annoyances, like I really despise the word "ain't". EUGH it should be banned!
Wake me up before I change again
Remind me the story that I won't get insane
Tell me why it's always the same
Explain me the reason why I'm so much in pain.
Is it just me who noticed that the word 'grammar' in the title was spelt wrong?
I can't STAND bad grammar or punctuation or anything like that..drives me insane.
I'm gonna tap him like a maple tree. I'm gonna search him for some syrups. I'm gonna be having sex with him.
Yes, and depending on my mood depends on whether I pick the person up on it or not. Although I only tend to do this to people I know, in case they can't help their mistakes because of dyslexia or something like that.
Yeah I noticed that Nic,
Shouldn't it read: Are you a grammar Nazi?
nope not marked on grammer nor spelling apart from jane.
apparently its if the content of the essay your writing is there there's no problem to it. but then again we all use computers and word to do our stuff
Really? I do an engineering degree and I get penalised (penalized? s or z?) for inaccurate spelling and grammar. It's not much, but it's taken as read that you should have a basic grasp of the English language, and it's particularly harsh on the foreign students.

Haha, that was the first thing I noticed! And the lack of question mark.
I tend not to pick on people for their lack of skill in using the English language, but it really does grate on me. I mean, there are mistakes and then there are mistakes. Not putting a question mark on the end of a question isn't something I feel is excusable, but when things get a bit more complicated (such as the use of colons and semi-colons) then I can let it go.
We all make mistakes - spelling, grammar, punctuation or otherwise - but really I think sometimes people are just being lazy!
There are lots of posts I just refuse to read because of the piss poor spelling, grammar or punctuation. It just becomes too much work to read them, so sod it!
Oh and yes, people who Type Like This or LiKe ThIs ArE rEaLly AnNoYiNg.
It must be so time consuming and just.....why?! If someone can give me a valid reason for typing like this then I'll...well, I don't know what I'd do, but I'd still like to hear someone try to justify it!
Utter grammar freak.
To the point of being stressed by the grammar of the title of this post :P
