Viewing profiles?

I was just going through the boards and noticed a couple of users whose names were black rather than blue, no avatar, no information underneath etc. Tried clicking on the name to view the profile and couldn't, then tried searching for the members but got no results.

Have they been banned? Deleted their profile? Is there some obvious explanation that I'm just too slow to pick up on, lol!

It means the account has been deleted.

That was what I thought at first but then one of them had posted yesterday and not made any mention of leaving RYL or anything.
