I'm have been on it for just under 3 weeks, taking it with paroxetine. Feel calmer and less anxious and panicky inside, feeling better but whether its down to the meds, I dont know! - have had lots of headaches, insomnia, and want to eat more food as side effects!

I was on it and I didn't find it helpful, and it gave me really bad side effects. Sorry to be a bit negative!

xx

It really helped me when I was first diagnosed with bipolar. I used to get headaches though. Unfortunately psychiatrists are reluctant to prescribe it alongside atypical antipsychotics, as carbamazepine eliminates them from your body too quickly for them to have any effect.
