SI Question - Ermm yeah... I dno what this is...*Possibly Urgent*

Sooo. I cut. I was having a bad couple of days and cut quite a lot. But I made sure to put some antiseptic and dressings on them. But one of them has gone weird..
Its kinda like scabbed (Which is usual for me) but part of the scab has gone black. I mean proper black. And a circle around it has gone purple...
I mean Ive put more antiseptic of it.. but its still there... what is it? What should I do?
I really dont wanna go to the doctors about it. Ive been to a hospital before about my self harm and I dont like the way they treat me. I dno if anyone else has experienced it. But they look and talk to me as if Im purposly trying to make there job harder. yano? Is there anything I can do on my own to make it better?

A lot of my scabs are black, and there are sometimes smallish purple circles that I assume are little bruises around the cut, but they go away. Doesn't sound like anything to worry about. If you're still unsure, see a doctor.

Yeah this sounds pretty normal. You should make sure you are treating them correctly (see the wound care guide located under the advice tab at the top of the forum)
