Had you had unprotected sex when you took the pill?
How long do your periods normally last? how long have you been on so far?

the morning after pill can bring on bleeding and can mess your cycles up for a little while afterwards. it sounds like normal after symptoms from taking this kind of pill. read the leaflet that comes with it (google if you can't find it) and it will explain more.

It shouldnt affect any op but you should still mention it to your anthestist before surgery.
