Please give me advice on how to manage/hide/not be taken over by OCD?

Want to point out here ive never been diagnose nor have a sought a diagnosis, but after a year or so fannying about it, i decided a while back just accept that im not "normal" when it comes to that..

But anyhoob, i can see it getting worse and i dont know why cus im actually really happy atm and if anything getting me down its just my thoughts and actions cus of OCD. i wonder maybe if its cus i left school in may (exams) and ive got long days to fill, no structure. idk. But how do i stop it getting too bad? How do i hide it in public?

See a professional.
There is nothing shameful about having OCD. I have it, and it is bad, but it in noway defines who you are.
And let's face it; no one is normal.

I have ocd, too. To be honest, I don't stop myself from doing my compulsions in the comfort of my own home. But when I'm in public, I just have to tell it no. Like you're talking to a dog. "No, bad ocd, don't arrange the bottles of soap", or something like that. It sounds silly, but it helps. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. I'm struggling with my ocd right now, so I'm not good at this. I hope things get better. (:
