Triggering (SI) - commands and messages

does anyone ever get commands by voices to go places? I do and it's starting to get annoying. They told me to go to a coffee shop today that I used to work at so I did. they told me to cut, but i didn't which is good. i'm afraid they're going to start telling me to do bad things. one time they wanted me to hurt someone. i didn't do it, but it scared me. i was getting messages from the songs on my ipod too. is that normal? well not normal but normal if you hear voices and have people in your head? i think they're spirits that are with me for some reason. i've told my counselor/case manager but they don't seem to be able to do much.

hmmm.... I've never had anything like that happen, sorry. I've had impulses to do stupid things, but i've never had voices. I'm only mentioning cause I want to say I don't think that's very normal... not to be a downer, but that sounds kind of scary. I would definitely suggest getting some help for that. Most people don't have it go "bad" as I've heard, but that's still serious, and perhaps more importantly it is horrible for you to feel that way. not to be "you have this...", but it makes me think of schizophrenia or manic episodes. I hope things get better, really sorry that's happening for you.

I know what you mean, I get that, they tell me to hurt people all the exact details of what I must do, everything explained precisely so there can be no mistakes. It terrifies me that I might actually listen one day. What my boyfriend always says to me is to ignore EVERYTHING they say, even if it seems harmless like your example of going to a coffee shop, because once they start getting you to do simple things they might move onto more dangerous things, so if you don't listen at all you don't even start to go down that road.

i know i shouldn't do what they say. for some reason it's hard not to... like i wanna see if i can prove it's real? i know that makes no sense.

now i'm thinking my pills were spiked cause i took it and slept really long and feel really groggy now that i'm awake. that can't be though, right?
