the-boost-Katie-through-the-next-couple-of-days-at-work-thread!
The past couple of weeks I have been starting work later on a Tuesday, and having Wednesday mornings as leave. [I don't work Weds. afternoons] This has been to help me through the intense exhaustion I've been feeling when not sleeping well.
I am now sleeping a bit better - apart from a nightmare last night. And this week we are short staffed at work, plus I have a 1:1 with my manager at 9 tomorrow morning...
And I'm kind of worried. I've not been well with a virus, and emotionally am processing a lot of deep and intense things.
If you could post messages to boost me through the next day and a half at work I would really really appreciate it.
Thanks.

I'm just so tired. I could really use some boosting through the day.

I know what you mean! I am just the same, just so tired.
But good luck for the next couple of days!

Thanks.
I actually slept 6 hours straight last night, without waking up. But then kept waking up the last few hours every half hour or so, and had distressing, flashback type dreams.
This morning I feel really tired, exhausted, drained, all those things. Hopefully my energy will pick up as the day progresses.
Matt, I hope you recover from The virus soon. I had it not too bad, but my flatmate got it next, and she had it really bad, then the baby had it, and now my other flatmate's suffering with it.

Dont take pills they knock you out like hell ^_^
Suppose all you can do is get up, coffe, and try to maintain a positive mood, because if you feel low and depressed it jus doesnt work and you will feel tired all day.
Heck i jumped outa bed and into clothes when i got money in my bank :P
Something to get excited about always works *Squeeeeel*

Thanks Mari!
I nearly had to fall asleep at my desk today. And I've got a sore throat again. But I have chips for tea [with veggie casserole] so hopefully they will fix something!

Thanks!
Friday sounds crappy as it will only be me and boss-man in the office. Everyone else is on leave! At least I only work 3 hours on Fridays.
