Miscarriage/baby loss support thread?

Hi guys,

Over recent weeks i've been seeing a lot of threads about people who have miscarried - and i was thinking of maybe making a support thread for people who have gone through such losses, similar to the baby support thread.

I feel it would be really supportive to have a thread, especially around anniversarys. Due to my own experiences i feel i'd beable to give out advice/support to others aswell - atleast i'd be of some use that way.

I've lost a child and had miscarriages, and although i love the baby support thread, sometimes it can be overwhelming to go in there.

I'm just wondering whether you feel this would be a good idea, and where abouts the thread should be made?

Thankyou in advance for any replies :) xx

Yeh i did think of Grief and Trauma Support but it's not used often and i don't know if it would be seen.

I was thinking General Advice & Support? But wasn't sure. It's where i've seen the most "miscarriage" threads anyway.

i would just worry that in general support and advice.. it might get kicked off the first page if it wasnt being used daily.

maybe if it was in grief and trauma, people that are postg about miscarriages could be linked to it, and then maybe those that are reading the threads because theyve had similar experiences would see the link too?

where ever it goes, if you linked it in this thread, a lo of people would see it as this board gets a lotof readers, but not many new threads, so they stay on the first page a long time.

grief and trauma would be a good place, if you see miscarraige threads you could always link them :) as word of mouth (letters) spreads more people will find it.x

There are times to stay put, and what you want will come to you.
But there are times to go out into the world and find such a thing for yourself.
I aint no abacus but you can count on me.

What a good idea. Excellent for people who've experienced that sort of trauma.
