Blarg MORE bad news

Sorry if this is wrong place for this!

Our cat got hit by a car last night. Hes now dead. Not impressed, some of you may remember the dog got hit about 3 weeks ago n our other cat died from being hit about 6 months ago. I loath this village.

I've written a letter to the police to request a change of speed limit, what do you guys think?

I would like to make a request for the speed limit within guyhirn village to either be monitored or lowered to 30. Primarily as people are always doing far above the 40mph speed limit which has so far caused the death of two of our cats and the almost fatal injury of our dog. Another of our cats has also been hit but managed to get away with only minor injuries (possibly the only person doing the speed limit?) These injuries are all within a year (three within the last month).
I would appreciate something to be done as if people were doing the speed limit, our dog would not be having an operation today, our cat would not have had 3 months of pain before being put to sleep and our cat that was found dead today may still have been alive.
Also please take into consideration that there is a primary school within guyhirn, if this can happen so easily to our animals, what happens if a child walks out into the road unsupervised. People speed through here regularly no matter what the time of day.
Thank you for your time and consideration, if a decision is reached i would appreciate some feedback (eg if deiceded not to, reasons why not)
Sincerely
Charlotte

I figured 4 animals in 6 months is kinda telling you something so i may as well ask! We cant be the only people in the village with this problem - our animals arent stupid!

And yes, she has a teddy duck in her bed with her, and she keeps moving it so its beak is in the water 'drinking'. Its very cute :P

The letter sounds like a good idea. Maybe you could even start a petition.

A petition may be a good idea, im sure the parents of the kids in the school would sign up. And two seconds after that photo Fox (the duck) pecked the cats face and she ran off!

you need an animals crossing sign to be put up!
a speed camera would also do the trick, although they are reducing their use in some places, mand x
