So, I have two tattoos. A moon on my left shoulder and a sun on my right. I got one last year and the other earlier this year. I thought about what I wanted for a long time.. then finally got them. But now I don't like them anymore... Because my personality is changing as I'm getting older! It ****ing sucks! D: Anybody else ever had this problem?
Nope, I have never regretted my tattoo. I've never looked at it and thought anything but good throughts. But it means something to me so. Sorry you're not enjoying yours to the full.
Wake me up before I change again
Remind me the story that I won't get insane
Tell me why it's always the same
Explain me the reason why I'm so much in pain.
my friend regretted a dolphin she had on her shoulder from when she was 16. she just got it covered with flowers and swirls it looks so so pretty now! just because its permanent doesnt mean it has to be exactly like that for ever. maybe look into cover ups?
I won't get one for that very reason. I get bored of things very easily so i know i would only regret it in the long run, however i do like my many piercings that i have =]
^^ Same. Im scared of that situation!!
but i would love a peace sign somewheres on myself.. i dont think ill ever change the love and need i have for peace
☮
as someone else said, covering it up or making it into somethign else would be pretty cool!

i've only had mine a month but i don't regret it at all.
" my precious, precious child, I love you and I would never, never leave you during your times of trials and suffering. When you see only one set of footprints it was then that I carried you" you were carried out of are lifes into the next and when its my time to leave this life I know i will be carried into the next life with you.
I wish i had my world complete again.

I just wish I would have gotten something different on the small of my back, but I plan to get it covered up at some point, or at least something added to it. My other tattoo I love, the only regret I have with it is that I didn't get it larger.

no, but then again mine is on my foot, i dont see it mostly and other people dont see it either really, its just a personal thing. But i dont think i will ever regret it because i got it for a reason and not just for the sake of getting one.

never the tattoo but maybe the placement. cos i have 3 tats right where the end of my sleeve is gonna go. i'll find a way to make them blend with in with it, just when i got them i never thought i'd get a sleeve.

we're falling apart, together.
why can't i feel anything for anyone other than you?
Yeah, mine has meaning too. But I still wish I hadn't gotten them because I feel like it looks like too much. I am thinking about a cover-up.. hopefully I can come up with something. I know I'm going to get one more for my birthday, but this one will be on my upper back so I won't get sick of it since I'll hardly ever see it. It's just so addicting!
Sometimes i do regret my tattoo - i have a large panther on my left arm. I sometimes regret the size of it or maybe what it looks like but i am happy with it and am glad i have it ...
when i fall, no one catch me alone lonely, i'll overdose slowly
get scared, i'll scream and shout
but you know it wont matter she'll be passing out
I've had mine for about a year. It's on my inner forearm. And I don't regret it so far. I'm not bored of it. I still look at it with the same awe I did when I first got it. It's symbolic in many ways for me. I doubt I will ever regret it. But sometimes I wonder if it might get in the way of possible jobs, seeing as it is in a very visible place.
This is precisely why I think tattoos need to have a meaning or should be symbolic to the individual. Even when a person grows and changes the tattoo will still hold some personal meaning.
I often wish my tattoo was in a slightly different style but I still love it because I still love what it stands for. It marks a time in my life that I will never regret.
i'm wanting to change mine into more feminine images, i got them when i used to wear a lot of piercings and dye my hair bright colours, which i'd still like to do but it didn't really suit me. Now when i wear pretty girly tops i have a tribal/heart tattoo on my arm that looks a bit sorta manly. my hubby has the same one and it looks lush on him. mand x

I'm surprised my tattoo doesn't have as much meaning as it did when I got it. I never thought it wouldn't. But it does still have meaning to me. It also marks a very important time in my life. I actually think I just wish they were a little smaller.
I would never get a tattoo that has no meaning. I don't understand how people can do that.
