it's tomorrow, and i'm wearing a sleeveless dress. I have no cardi or anything that i can wear to cover my scars, so EVERYONE will see them.
most people already know i sh, but... idk. i'm scared

and, i'm going to america next thursday and i'll go swimming. in a bikini.
everyone will see my arm AND legs - no one's seen my legs before, and they're nearly all scars now, but i want to cut and i can't because they'll all see.

Heyyy honey, its that time of year isnt it? We just want to have fun but our scars hold us back. About the prom, if people know about the scars then that should be fine, dont let them hold you back. Like TinkerDebs said, be strong because you are strong. If you feel really selfconscious or whatever couldnt you just put some concealer or foundation on them and then theyll be covered up for the night?

In America, you are only going there once- you will never see the people again- so just go all out and wear your bikini if it is what you feel comfortable in. Im going to Iceland and I have to wear a bikini, my scars are noticeable so I bought myself a kaftan- theyre quite cheap and fairly easy to get hold of and quite stylish :) Mine covers up everything. If it bothers you that much, you could get one of those?

Maybe you could use it as a challenge or target to aid yourself in reducing your cutting, or rewarding yourself or something like that?

i will see the people in america again though - they're my aunties and uncles and cousins and friends.
i'm 31 days sh free, but i want to **** it all up so bad :(

I am not sure if I have any advice, but I am thinking of you, and I think you are being really really brave. I am sure you will look great at Prom.. its supposed to be a big night so try and enjoy it!!

Hey, first off I want to say good luck. It's really brave of you to do this. As someone said, your leaving school so you probably won't see those people that much anymore (unless of course their in your neighborhood) as for your family, I'm not really sure what do say about that. It can always be hard because they are your family.good luck
