Can't get something off my mind
I have a problem that there's nothing I can do to change and it's on my mind ALL THE TIME. I just can't stop thinking about it; I think and worry about it from the first moment I wake up to when I go to sleep. I sometimes even have nightmares about it. It's affecting my life because I can't concentrate on other things or be happy if I'm worrying about this one problem all the time.
Has anyone got any tips on how to block this one problem from my mind so that I can think of other things?

I get this, but mine is about how ugly (i think) i am.
I find playing games on nintendo helps focus on something else. The only thing i can think of is either distractions such as painting, cooking, walking with music, or trying something like cbt which can help change how you think abuot the problem.

Yea. I have that, mine would be cleaning and having to be clean.
I, as ami does, play games. Do other things.

*hugs* i've had similar things. can you talk to a dr. about it? or a counselor? like others have said, utilize distractions and such.
