Can't see some posts

Wasn't quite sure how to label this but I've noticed in several threads members have been quoted but there isn't a separate post from them to have been quoted from. There's a couple of specific members who I've noticed this happens with but I can see the majority of their posts, just not some of them.

Any ideas why this would happen? Is it something really obvious/logical that I'm just completely missing? Lol!

Are they quoting it from a different thread and manually putting it in to that thread?

I don't think so because the quotes seem fairly specific to that thread (in news and debate for example). Will see if I can find the quote in another of their posts though.

Getting a little paranoid that they've blocked me from seeing some of their posts! :S

I don't think it works that way - you'd have to have ignored them.

No, you'd have to have ignored the other member to not see their posts.

It's possible that the person who made the original post deleted their post after someone quoted it. It's also possible that a moderator deleted the original post.

I searched the forums for one of the quotes and couldn't find it in a different post like Aimee suggested. I guess the original posts were just deleted.
