I am currently:
My ed is flaring up again

Idk what I want from this other than to get it out.

I have bed. Now normally eating too much is usually the problem but I then restrict afterwards. Today is the opposite problem. Any kind of food seems too much and overwhelming, especially as I have choice in what to eat. I haven't ate since x time because the thought of food is just too much. I have Easter eggs and I haven't touched them yet because once again, it seems too much.

How can I persuade myself that it's ok to eat and it's ok to eat an Easter egg? I have never had the problem of being overwhelmed by too much choice food wise before. My biggest concern is if I said **** it and ate an Easter egg is that I would restrict.

I wish I knew the answers to these questions, but sadly I don't. I'm really sorry you're struggling with this though. If it's about choice, could you just make a choice ahead of time? Say to yourself that you'll have an Easter egg, or half an Easter egg, or whatever, as a treat that day? Maybe plan it the day before so you're not even choosing it on the day? I don't know if that would help.

Do you have any professional support you could lean on if this is a known issue you've had in the past?

And for the record, yes it's okay to eat - including the Easter egg.

You've got this, stay strong.

Ride it out.
