It looks like they could be similar to corn chex?
Also in my googling of American cereal I found churro cereal?!?!?
Beckie, sorry for hijacking, on topic comments below!
Well done for making a start with Project Shreddies. In terms of how to start eating, you might find having a schedule helpful- so it’s not about deciding in the moment when/if to eat, you just know that at round about x time in the morning it’s breakfast time and that’s what you do. Maybe you could watch a certain show with breakfast, listen to a certain podcast with lunch etc. In our house we plan our evening meals for the week all at once on a Sunday and perhaps that could help because then when it arrives at a mealtime there are no decisions to be made; you know what you’re having already.
Thinking of you and sending lots of motivational thoughts- you can do this :)
I think it's really important to go, though I can understand how when something is so far away anxiety from anticipation can be horrible. Do you think not knowing how your bloods are would in the long run cause you more anxiety than finding out would?
Well done on having them again!!!
Please do not give me virtual hugs unless you are only using the hug function on threads. Thanks.
You can't always keep it separate.
This is happening, this is part of you.
Camden is right, it's likely you'll be more worried if you don't go. I'm glad you think you're going to go :)
How are you doing this morning?
I like Jenna's idea of planning what and when you're going to eat, I found that really can help when you have no hunger cues, just saying to yourself, "right, it's 1pm, I'm going to have lunch." No putting it off cos you're not hungry either, just 1pm is lunch time.

I hope breakfast has happened, if not, *cheerleads* you can do it!
That’s good. Do you have any meals in mind? It’s always super exciting to try new things, or things you’ve really missed out on because of the ED, but if you need to keep it simple that’s ok.

I don't have anything in mind really. Maybe things I could cook lots of then have it for lunch/dinner again the following day too? Like a pasta bake?
I just need to remember the foods that I liked eating before all this happened!
I'm fine! Totally fine. I don't know why it's coming out all loud and squeaky, 'cause really, I'm fine!
Batch cooking is good, that way you can portion it for the next few days as you said, and pasta bake is always excellent! It can be tough to remember what you used to like when you’ve convinced yourself you just love the lowest calorie soup in the supermarket, but maybe think back to when you were a kid - what was your favourite treat meal, can you replicate that? Or have you seen anything on a menu or in the supermarket and wished you were ‘allowed’ it? Because you totally are allowed it! (My thing was macaroni cheese)

Macaroni cheese is amazing
When I haven't eaten for very long periods of time I always end up craving Macaroni cheese!
I haven't had a steak in ages. So maybe I could get one. Good for the iron levels too.
And salmon. I love salmon

Just a casual reminder that you *never* need to compensate for having a lovely time.
Seconded It's great that you managed to eat like a normal person for a day or two. Since that's something you've been finding hard, frankly it's something to be proud of, not feel guilty about!
