Not relying on services as care givers. HOW?!

I wrote a long reply to this and somehow it disappeared :/
In summary I wanted to say this is very common behaviour and something I used to do all the time. I’d SH until needing stitches just to have someone see my pain, be concerned and worried about me and caring and also physically see myself being “fixed”.
I think the way I stoped this was realising it didn’t fill that empty space in me. I now use helplines when I need recognition and care.

Yes Emma I did. There was a few times it got a bit much and I had to get out and go for a short walk. But I returned.
