I am currently:

It is usual student frustration but it is also an extra challenge on my part... and harder because I'm now the permanent point of contact here.

If other people are easy going and chatty and relaxed then I respond to that better. When they're not, for whatever reason, it isn't easy in the slightest for me. So I'm not saying the problems are just due to autism and really don't want anyone to think that's why I'm implying. Its just that I've managed to insult her previously without meaning to and don't want a repeat of that. I don't want people to be unhappy working here so really just wanted to know if there's a way I can manage that better.

I think we had a bit of a breakthrough the other day though, where she came to ask me a question about job interview stuff she was worrying about. So I must be doing something right?
