Once your sunflower is getting quite tall, get one of those gardening sticks that are green and look like they're made of bamboo and tie your sunflower to it. It's to make sure that when it grows really tall, it doesn't end up bending over and snapping :3

I live in the middle of a terraced street in the middle of town, I get about an hours sunlight a day =[

Do you have a window you can open?
You could mount a window box on the outside and grow something there.
Or, I just remembered that I posted a list called 10 plants that are hard to kill. You could buy one of those. and even with little light they can thrive.
Just run a search on the General Chat and i'm sure you'll find it.
